Caitlin has been reading all year and working very hard to reach the 100 AR Points goal that she set for herself back in September. It was so sweet to see that determination in her to reach such a lofty goal for a 7 year old second grader. I am so proud of her! She was so cute when I asked her where she might want to go for her celebratory dinner. She says, "KFC!" Well, I explained to her that while KFC might be really fun, I thought maybe a Japanese Steak House like Kabuki or Ichiban might be more festive. She agreed and tonight we visited Ichiban. It was so fun, little Jared was absolutely mesmerized by the chef and all of his tricks! At one point, the guy was flipping shrimp into our mouths. Even Nanny had a great time! So congratulations Caitlin for all of your hard work! Your family is so proud of you!!

Congrats to Caitlin!!! That is really great to hear that she read that many books. All of us are proud too!!! Keep up the good work.
