We had a great camping trip to Alta Mons recently with five other families. There were nine kids in the group (including ours) ranging in age from one to thirteen. Jared had just learned to ride his bike without training wheels and this was a great chance for him to practice his new skills. I think he only crashed twice, and those weren't too bad! We were able to have campfires both nights, despite the statewide burn ban. Thanks John for bringing the nice, covered fire pits which allowed us to burn legally. We did go on a haunted hay ride Saturday night that was a bit too violent for a church camp (bloody chainsaws and murder galore), but it was fun nonetheless. We are hoping to have one more camping trip before the cold weather sets in. We are going to go up to Middle Creek to see Susan and her family. Can't wait!!
