Camping on Christmas!

Well, after a bit of arm twisting (just a little bit mind you), I convinced Rich that we needed to go camping during our time off. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at home doing all of the normal, traditional type things like gifts, Santa, and Christmas breakfast with Mom and Uncle Lawrence. We then packed up and headed for Middle Creek. Susan and Tim are closed for the winter, but that didn't stop us! Actually, it is pretty neat being the only ones camping there. We stayed nice and toasty with lots of campfire action. We took our bikes and went riding. We went for some nice walks. Caitlin and Jared had a blast playing with Luke, Matt, and Jeffery for two days of Nerf Gun action. Rich and I enjoyed some Margaritas and several rounds of Taboo with Susan and Tim. Even the dogs had fun avoiding the Martin's new dog Zoe, who was just a bit too rambunctious for our two old crochety dogs. I never thought that I would be the kind of gal who goes camping on Christmas, but I must say, we had a blast. The new camper was, after all, a Christmas present. So we had to enjoy it, right? ! :-) Merry Christmas!
