Douthat Trip

I'm finally getting around to posting pics from the Douthat trip (which by the way, I did not take!) Once again, I never remember my camera! Thank you Melva for your help! :) We really enjoyed Douthat, although we did have to weather a lot of pretty scary thunder storms. The beach area was really neat, complete with a sliding board and diving board. The only bad thing to say about the place is that they are a bit too strict. Kerry and Kim got in trouble for walking and laughing after 10:00 p.m. We've dubbed it a WWL (instead of a DUI, get it!?) I think we'll stick with Middle Creek and Alta Mons in the future for our camping trips.

Yesterday, we returned from the lake with the Bishops. We found a kayak at Sams before going. MUCHO FUN! My left leg disagrees though, I tipped the thing twice and am majorly bruised! It was still a lot of fun. On Friday night, Rich, Andy, Kerry, Todd (not demolition Todd, but a friend of Andy's from work) and I had a really fun time singing and laughing. I don't think I've laughed that hard in a very long time. We came home yesterday, Rich is now sick in the bed with a 101 degree temperature. I'm betting he's coming down with strep throat again. Oh joy!
